The Great Outdoors

It’s that time of year when our focus turns to the outdoors.  The long spring and summer days in the PNW enable us to take full advantage of the beautiful weather that we usually have this time of year.

A couple of reminders for the community, especially for those that have recently moved to the neighborhood –

  • Please slow down when driving through the neighborhood and remind your guests and contractors to do the same.  There are lots of kids, adults and pets out this time of year, so please be cautions.  We know that the majority of speeders through the neighborhood don’t actually live here, and aside from regularly complaining to the county, we haven’t found much else that is effective at slowing people down on our streets.
  • If you have guests over, avoid parking on the “sidewalk”.
    • That white strip of paint on one side of the road is as close as we get to a sidewalk, so let’s keep it clear for those that like to walk through the neighborhood.
    • Additionally, parking overnight on the street isn’t allowed per the CC&Rs.
  • If you’re thinking about buying an RV, have recently purchased one or are storing yours offsite – RVs can be stored on your property as long as they’re properly screened.  Please reach out to the Board of Directors for more details.
  • Landscaping Projects – if you’re planning on changing your landscaping, installing a fence, installing that new hot tub or making other upgrades to your property, you need to submit an ACC project proposal.  This helps to ensure that all of the hard work everyone puts into their properties is in harmony with the rest of the neighborhood and helps to preserve our home values.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your Board of Directors – bod@hiddenridgehoa.com.

Have a great summer!
