We’re looking for volunteers to be a part of a new landscape committee that is being formed for the community.
This is another opportunity to be involved in the neighborhood and help shape the direction of our common areas and overall landscaping. We’ve had feedback from several community members that they’d like to see improvements and/or changes in how our landscaping looks at various points of the neighborhood, like new flowers or trees or even looking at the possibility of creating additional community recreation space.
This committee is initially charged with the following tasks:
- Providing advice and recommendation to the board about landscaping projects that should be undertaken by the community.
- Organizing and coordinating landscaping and cleanup events, including
- Neighborhood planting projects within common areas
- Clean up coordination after windstorms
- Other cleanup projects as the committee sees fit.
- Additional oversight of our landscape contractor
- Identifying any related activities for which the committee should be responsible.
The Board would like to see a committee of at least 4 volunteer homeowners, with one individual as the chairperson of the committee.
Additionally, we think it would be valuable to have a list of additional volunteers that would be willing to help out in the neighborhood if a need arises for cleanup assistance – fallen down trees, cars stuck in ditches, etc.
If you are interested in being a part of the committee or listing adding yourself to the list of volunteers to help with cleanup, please email the Board – bod@hiddenridgehoa.com.
